empAθos View of Life and Death
We have a saying, "Life and death are the same thing."
empAθos religious views surrounding life after death are not concerned with such concepts as heaven or hell, but more ideally interested in the nature of awareness and of space/time. Since material measurements only measure material things, it's illogical to assume that material measurements can measure awareness, or space/time outside of a fourth dimensional framework, or any other non-material phenomena. All that can be measured is the effects of these phenomena upon third and fourth dimensional constructs. Everything beyond that understanding must be considered speculation.
Therefore, admittedly, this is entirely speculation. Assuming that it would be possible to exact definitive proofs that would affirm or deny all or part of this speculation, if the facts should prove otherwise, empAθos concepts would be changed to reflect the facts.
That being said:
Given the evidence that has manifest itself upon third and fourth dimensional constructs, empAθos speculate about life after death based upon the following evidence:
-
Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed.
-
Nature relies upon a tight economy where nothing is wasted and everything is recycled.
-
Every organ in the body is limiting in some way, including the brain which limits perception.
-
All energy/matter, all space/time, and all information are part of, and manifested in a singular field of energy, which our perception interprets into fourth dimensional reality.
Because of these data, empAθos cannot discount a reality where awareness (as in observation such as to cause quantum level changes by the act of making the observation) continues after a physical body ceases to function. Experimentation involving brain surgery which manifested memory recall when different areas of the brain were stimulated have been used to press a speculation against the continuation of this awareness, however such interpretations are flawed by one glaring error. It presupposes that the brain's chemistry generates awareness, rather than awareness generating brain chemistry. There is no means of testing, in day to day field experimentation, which of these are indeed the case, and to discount the possibility of one over the other, without sufficient data to back such a speculation, is done so only through the prejudice of the researcher.
A view of strict materialism doesn't have enough data to properly support it.
An awareness shared between two people entwined in an emotional bond of such nature that even the same thoughts are shared on a daily basis; the experience of family members who come know that a beloved member of their family has just that instant died, even though that person may be thousands of miles away; experiences of a deceased family member as though the deceased has made a visitation; phenomena that cannot be proved or measured but are very real to the people who experience them, even though anecdotal, must be given consideration owing to their frequency of occurrence, and their prevalence throughout human experience.
The difficulty again comes in being unable to measure such phenomena. However, to discount an experience because the researcher was not there to measure it, or had not the means to measure it, is only a testament to the researcher's absence or inability, not a testament regarding the nature of the data. If data remains untested, it simply remains untested, and it would be illogical to discount the veracity of the data without the possibility of giving it an adequate test. empAθos do not speculate upon the veracity of such data, but merely place it into the category of interesting phenomena that raises questions, and that may yield interesting data when the means are developed to measure it accurately.
So, what do empAθos people believe about life after death?
-
Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed.
When an individual dies, what happens to the energy of that person's awareness? Materialism says that the body and brain are damaged to the point of no longer being able to function or being able to generate thought, consciousness and awareness. However, if thought and consciousness are distinguished as separate from awareness, and are considered a local function of the brain, where awareness itself is considered a non-local function that governs these two local functions, the picture changes. If the brain does not generate awareness, but limits it, then the energy of that awareness must continue in some form related to its non-local nature, and the energy of that awareness would be impossible to destroy, or even transform on a local level.
-
Nature relies upon a tight economy where nothing is wasted and everything is recycled.
Again, awareness and all of its manifested products would be wasted if it simply ceased upon death. Natural economy is contradictory to this scenario.
-
Every organ in the body is limiting in some way, including the brain which limits perception.
In order to function in a fourth dimensional reality, one cannot perceive in five or more dimensions. One must be able to perceive length, width, and depth as static dimensions, and time as a progression of events. Without this limitation, encoded in the brain, serious breaches in reality perception are manifested. This may be behind some of the phenomona seen in individuals with autism, and individuals under the influence of certain hallucinogens. Perception is distorted because that limiting function of the brain is circumvented. If the brain's limitations no longer function, then reality in every possible dimension may be allowed, and the awareness becomes no longer bound to space/time as we understand it, but may perceive space/time as static on a number of higher dimensional realities in much the same way that an individual bound by the normal limitations of the brain perceives the static dimensions of length, width and depth.
-
All energy/matter, all space/time, and all information are part of, and manifested in a singular field of energy, which our perception interprets into fourth dimensional reality.
If all reality is embodied in this Quantum Singularity Field, then awareness must also be a part of it. To separate out one phenomenon of reality as not being a manifestation of the field is to step out of the field. Awareness must be a part of the field, or it is not a reality.
empAθos people believe that awareness is the primary function of the field. Awareness is the field. Without awareness the field would simply not be a reality, and that which manifests itself as material reality would simply not be possible. Awareness is the shared reality which constructs material manifestation.
empAθos do not believe in a heaven, nor in a hell as separate realities that one enters when one dies. Such dualisms are illogical and not naturally manifested. Non-empAθos People, in hoping for a reward for enduring the harsh realities of life invented heaven to fill that need, just as Non-empAθos People hoping for revenge upon people who brought them harm or difficulty invented hell as a lasting revenge. For empAθos, heaven and hell may simply be of one's own making.
Life and death are the same thing. If one perceives space/time as a static dimension when one is no longer limited by brain function, then there is no difference between life and death. This is the singularity that unites the dualities of life and death. empAθos believe that when someone dies, their manifestation in awareness is no longer bound to the limitations set by the possession of a body. However, those things that can be learned by the limitations of a body are essential for awareness to learn about itself. The function of life, therefore, is to learn.
